Camera technology with 41 megapixels, which debuted in Symbian-mobile Nokia 808 PureView, allegedly coming to Windows Phone this summer.
A year ago, Symbian phone Nokia 808 PureView presented as a camera monster. Sales argument was the phone over sampling of 5-megapixel images taken with the camera, which thus could be processed into 41 megapixels.
This summer will, however, also find their way PureView technology to a new product in Lumia-series running Windows Phone operating system, writes our site.
According to sources “close to the Finnish mobile manufacturer” will this phone be called Lumia EOS. Unfortunately joins the story nothing about other specifications and preliminary will be referred to as a summer launch event on the American market.
The Guardian has been trying to get a comment to Lumia EOS-history, but Nokia sticks to:
“Although we are pleased with the attention that Nokia Lumia-series continues to attract, it has been our longstanding policy not to comment on rumors or speculation.”
