Facebook app gets a thorough facelift these days-but is it a success?
10 years after Facebook one, comma, zero, saw the light of day, it’s a new twist to the social service takes in their latest designs. Overall it’s a jerk towards a minimalist impression with it social and especially the news at Headquarters.
The 3D-like shadow, in the iconic Facebook blue, is now run away, and the social world is now pancake flat. Navigation between notifications, messages, people and news going on tjept, flick rather than one or two clicks.
The biggest alteration is however in the message center. All communication is now relegated to the Facebook Messenger, a separate app, according to Facebook, which provides 20% response times. It takes a little getting used to jump between the two applications and here on our site editors are not undivided enthusiasm for the new Division.
What do you think? Are in enraptured of the new design or dreaming of you back to the old days-or dropped Facebook completely?
